Meet Monika Ruzickova, Maike Kunz and Sherri McMillian of SAP
Monika Ruzickova joined SAP Ariba in September 2008 as a deployment project manager and a people manager. After a maternity break Monika joined the People First team. The mission of the People First team is to help people to become the very best version of themselves. Monika leads Thrive Program globally. Thrive program is a global employee engagement program with more than 80 ambassadors in 22 cities and 13 countries around the globe. Monika also leads the Thrive Speaker Series which is a series of monthly virtual speaker engagements and she loves to bring inspiring topics presented by the top speakers to our work community. Monika also runs a campaign called #AppreciateTogether which is focused on cultivating an attitude of gratitude in our organization. Monika is based in Prague, Czech republic and has 2 kids: Veronika (5) and Filip (4) and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and skiing in the winter season.
Maike Kunz joined SAP in 2013 as intern and working student in HR. She started in the department of Organizational insights, taking care of the employee survey at SAP. After working on several internal projects and writing her master thesis at SAP, she started as HR Early Talent the one-year rotational trainee program in 2017. The program offers experiences in three different HR departments including one abroad. Maike absolved the first rotation as HRBP and PMO in the development area taking care of special projects and manager customer groups. The second rotation touched the Total Rewards department as whole, offering various topics like the executive bonus plans, benefits and the innovation lab. The third rotation has been absolved abroad in Newtown Square, PA in the USA where Maike joined the Digital HR Experience team, working on a close collaboration between Sales, Presales and HR to enrich the customer relationship. After the trainee program, Maike joined the Total Rewards area taking care of all internal global and local Recognition programs, including Appreciate (peer-to-peer recognition) and the Hasso Plattner Founders Award which is the highest employee recognition at SAP. In her free time, Maike enjoys to play handball and spent time with her family.
Sherri McMillian joined SAP in June 2010 as the Global Project Manager for Total Rewards. In 2013, she was appointed to be SAP’s first Global Recognition Lead where she led a cross functional, global team that designed, branded, and launched “Appreciate”, SAP’s first global employee recognition program designed to recognize the excellence in everyone. In 2016, she collaborated with an SAP partner to create the first SAP HANA HR cloud extension application for global recognition and relaunched “Appreciate” to all SAP employees on the new application. Sherri has also worked for the Office of the CEO as an Executive Total Rewards Partner and in 2018 became the Sales Compensation and Incentive Design Leader for SAP’s Cloud businesses. Sherri is based in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania and has 2 little girls – Rachel, age 4, and Julie, age 2. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
